Who

I am a software engineer and co-founder at Glucode. Got a B. (Hons) IT degree from the University of Pretoria. Before we started Glucode I worked at Core Computer Business (Apple IMC Southern Africa) for a little while. After I left Core I joined a small web agency in Cape Town called Generator Consulting (http://www.generator.co.za). When I left Generator, I came back to Pretoria and started Glucode with my partner, an old friend and also an ex-colleague from Core, PJ van Dyk.

We've always been big Apple fanboys, and so when we started Glucode, we wanted to the first company in SA to seriously target the Apple platforms for software products. At Glucode we developed and released the first South African iPhone app for Creamer Media's Mining Weekly publication. This was soon followed by the News24 and Engineering News apps. We also did some consulting for MXit to help them improve their iPhone app. We did various other little apps which are all on our website.
