Studied at Tuks 1998-2001. Drove trucks and tractors in USA Started with Desktop Support at a medical software company in Pretoria 2003 Became IT and Systems Manager at Vermaak Pathologists 2004, with a user-base of 10 computers and one server. Currenty we have around 400 computers, on 15-20 sites across Pretoria and the East Rand.
Fell in love with Unix 2008 and shortly after that I left Unix for Linux, played around with different distros, settling on Ubuntu.
Open Source advocate and Floss.pro member, working on bringing open source software to our office computers.
Part of the Ubuntu-ZA, GLUG groups, Floss.pro member and Let Talk Geek.
